    EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Xbox One Stereo Headset Adatper


    Okay, I plugged in the stereo headset adapter with the controller and got prompted to update. The very first time I try updating the controller I get an error, took the batteries out, hard reset the xbox, basically everything that google told me to do didn't
    work.

    Now this POS headset adapter has the mute LED on and doesn't even show up under accessories AT ALL anymore. Yes I updated the mixamp firmware. I'm extremely disappointed with this adapter and how difficult it is just to simply get my microphone to work on
    my a40s...

    Do I have to return this thing and wait weeks for another one to come? Or am I missing something. Very frustrating and unhappy with microsoft at the moment and considering returning everything. Sick of this crap.

    I can understand your frustration with all the bad luck you have been having. And, for the record, I am not part of the Microsoft staff nor an Xbox customer support employee. But, I can say that we have 2 Xbox Ones and 1 Xbox One S, and 2 of the

    Xbox One Stereo Headsets    . And, both headsets work well, with and without the
    Stereo Headset Adapters    , on all our Xboxes.

    Nothing? No one? I should've heeded the warnings that XB1 truly is just an entertainment system, not a gaming system like PS4.

    I'm sincerely sorry to hear about the stereo headset adapter issue. Have you tried manually updating your Xbox One controller within the 'Devices & accessories' menu in the Xbox One settings menu? If so, do you have another controller you can try plugging
    the adapter into so we can isolate the issue? That will help us a lot. I know this situation is not ideal, but we want to do everything we can to help you get this issue sorted! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Xbox One Stereo Headset Adatper :)
