Extremely bad latency...

Hi i have 100/10 internet connection at home and en i check the numbers i get 100+ downspeed, 10 upspeed and 15-20ms latency. But when i check in detailed networkstatistics on the xbox one i get...on a good day: 70 down and 8 up and 190ms latency. But the
last 2 nights i have recived almost 400ms latency and as low as 0,3 down and up. Istill get good numbers on my pc. Am i the onley one that have it like this?

[/quote]Gears 2 lag was EXTREMELY BAD the only way you had a fighting chance is if you had a dominate connection with great ping/latency PERIOD! the players that had those never realized how bad it was because you had great connections

Bad latency very bad

Any ever have this problem when you have good internet? I get 55mbps to my computer 54 mbps to the hard wire connected to my xbox when I test speed on my laptop but when I test speed on my xbox I get 3.8. Multi player experience has pretty much been ruined
for me since I'm so far behind everyone. Iv done everything xbox has told me to do with router and trouble shooting and still my speeds haven't change one bit. It's a really bad experience that has been happening lately and has been happening for about 2 months
now. Anyone else with this problem?

Try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. See if that solves the speed issue.

I have tried that a few times...when i do tests on a server in europe with my pc i get like 60ms...its wierd.

this again, i am yet to see any issues in either game, you sure its not your internet that has extremely bad latency.

Cloud gaming requires enough CPU and GPU power to handle video streaming. As your hardware is rather old, this may be causing problems when streaming games. If possible, I recommend trying cloud gaming on a different device such
as a smartphone or tablet to see if the same issue occurs.

Another factor to consider is network latency. You can visit the following website to check the latency between your network and the nearest Azure server, which is the service Xbox Cloud Gaming uses: https://www.azurespeed.com/Azure/Latency

Please check that site and let me know what the latency result is.

I have been unable to get the Game Pass app playing games on my phone, it does the same thing and only offers me options to remote install. It could be its an old phone. I am not worried about this, I wouldn't use my phone for playing games, I struggle at the best of times with a large screen and a controller.

I have accepted your suggestion of playing via the web as resolving, in truth I am more than happy to use this method, at least it works and seemingly with no detriment. I played a little bit yesterday and found no issues throughout a few games I was previously having trouble with.

I will update if there is any change in the pc xbox app for me. Maybe after its next update will be worth a try.
