    Extreme quality loss streaming after latest Xbox app update


    I have Windows 10 Pro running on my Samsung ATIV 700T Tablet PC. I have the Netgear Nighthawk X6 router. My tablet only connects to the router via 5Ghz connection. My Xbox is on a wired connection. Initially had no issues streaming on high at all. After
    the update, the streaming test fails even on low. Any suggestions or knowledge that this is an issue with the latest version?

    hi guys I am also having streaming problems but this time its to do with yify.tv website. this use to work now after the latest update it doesn't seem to work please can someone try this website and let me know if they also cant play videos on that site. (website is yify.tv on the internet explorer app on xbox one)

    Xbox App Streaming

    Hello, since the recent update to the Xbox and Xbox (beta) apps in Windows 10 I have been having consistency issues with Game Streaming in the app. Streaming will start with perfect quality then after 60seconds to 120seconds (this time varies) streaming gets
    disconnected with the message "Connection to your xbox has been lost." and when you select to stream again it starts immediately without issue until the next disconnect. I have verified with chat support that all of my equipment is fine. They had me un-install
    the app to re-install it and I have been unable to re-install the app (I will be creating a separate post for this).

    I dunno how this works but; I have Win10 on a wired desktop as well and I updated the app and tested there. It gave me check marks from low to very high. After which, I retested the Tablet PC and I got the same results!!! Test streaming now shows that I
    can do from low to very high whereas it was prior telling me my network was slow with x indications even on low.

    Ok, so the above was temporary... I later tested and got the X's again... however, today I noticed that (so far) it seems that if my Xbox one isn't listed in the devices section of Settings. It sometimes doesn't show for whatever reason though the Xbox is
    on and connected to the network.

    So...none of the above actually worked and after contacting Xbox and Microsoft failed, I wound up reinstalling Win 10 from scratch. Problem solved. Able to stream on Very High settings with no hiccups. Obviously a setting within windows 10 was causing the
    issue as I reset my router, stopped firewall, updated wifi device on tablet and followed the streaming troubleshooting guide on Xbox.com Nothing but the reinstall worked.

    I'm having the same problem. No problems with sounds, quality, or FPS, but I can only stream for 30 seconds to 2 minutes at a time. Everything was perfect before the new Xbox update, and possibly, the Xbox (Beta) app update.

    I've hard resetted my Xbox and at first it seemed to help (I was able to stream for a couple of hours before problem reoccured) but now it doesn't. I've also tried streaming from the Beta app and the normal one with no luck. This is extremely frustrating,
    since I don't have a TV at the moment.
