Extreme Input Delay for Mouse on Xbox

Has anyone else been getting really bad input delay for mouse on Fortnite?

Fortnite mouse and keyboard delay

hi, i have been having this extreme delay on my xbox one with mouse especially when big movements are made it is completely unplayable. I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue? I did not have this delay on my old mouse which i used. When i
make big movements the mouse almost stays still while doing them, and when i stop moving mouse it suddenly jerks and follows the exact path. Hope someone can help ,thanks

There have been some reports of Fortnite Xbox One players experiencing input latency when using a mouse and keyboard; a delay between moving the mouse and a subsequent on-screen action.

If you have multiple mice in the home, switching it out could be a temporary fix until the issue is properly addressed

 

since it's a new feature it may take some time for them to calibrate it.

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the issue, it looks like you're experiencing some input delay while playing fortnite with a mouse. Which mouse are you currently using with the Xbox one console? As well can you try using the mouse with
another supported game and see if the input delay is there as well? Please let us know how it goes.

Im using the G502 from Logitech, and I dont think I have any other games with Mouse support in it

 

My mouse also works just fine on 2 different PCs I tested on

 

As its in testing issue like this should be expected

Paul again from Xbox Forums Team, I was able to get my hands on an Xbox One Console with a mouse and keyboard set up to help with this issue. I did notice at first the mouse was a bit sluggish, but once I went into the in-game settings I was able to adjust
mouse sensitivity; as well on the Xbox One Settings under Kinect and Devices. I didn't notice any input delay from mouse clicks. If you're still experiencing input delay, then I suggest possibly running the

network troubleshooter to make sure your latency is low and have the correct NAT Type. I hope this information helps.

The clicking isnt a problem, its the mouse movement that is

 

This is basically a beat feature in Fortnite, probably going to take a few updates.

Thank you for your response! As XBF Paul M has suggested, please try to adjust the mouse sensitivity in game and see if that will fix the issue. If there is still an issue, then try to

Power cycle the console.

It is always best to make sure there is no lag as much as possible or network issues.

As we all know with Fortnite, lag will make gaming a bit rough.

Remember it is still in beta stage...

 

As it is a fairly new feature, I wouldn't recommend anything more than a console restart as any troubleshooting on top of that will be redundant. Give it a bit, I'm sure Microsoft will eventually perfect keyboard and mouse support as they do with everything.
