How do I perform a data transfer between two different Xbox One consoles? (Day One XB1 (500GB) to new COD XB1 (1TB)?

Easiest way is to attach a 500gb external USB 3.0 drive to the old console and move the data to the external drive, then connect that drive to the new console and transfer the data back, or just use the external

My new external hard drive isn’t being recognized by my Xbox one

What brand of external USB HDD is it? Is it a USB 3.0 HDD? Have you tried plugging it into a different USB port on the console?

Make sure that the USB cable is securely and properly attached at both HDD and console end. If the drive has an external power brick, try unplugging it and re-plugging it into the power outlet while the HDD is attached to the console.

    Problema console xboxone!!

    Hey there IL C0L0MBIAN0,

It sounds like your console is restarting unexpectedly when the external hard drive is attached and working normally when it's not attached to the console. It's possible there is an issue with the external hard drive.

Try plugging it into another USB port on the console and let us know if that helps out!

usb slot in back does not work plus hdd does not want to formate

Depending on what you are attaching to the 360 via the USB hub, you may need a powered hub to provide enough power to the devices attached. If your Samsung hard drive (which I assume you plan to use as an external drive) is not formatting on either the PC
or the Xbox, then the drive is either defective or there is a problem with your USB adapter or case (whichever is appropriate to your situation). The drive would also need to be formatted in FAT32 format in order for the Xbox to see it. And finally, you will
still only be able to use 32GB on the 120GB hard drive as that is the limit on external drives and you can have up to 2 external storage devices hooked up to USB.
