OK"I know i am an idiot and neub to gameing really,I had more than 40 games downloaded so l thought timeto transfer all of it to my external storage. Half way through decided to check vlewstorage seems fine BUT underneath it said do Iwhont to format this
device I thought I already had since i was over halfway but it asked so i thought ok i'd better had SECONDS. LATETER NOTHING ON MY DRIVE EXTERNAL 0 INTERNAL 20% ALL THE TRANSFERD GAMES APPS AND ACHIEVEMENTS GONE over1400hs of gameing nowhere and I. have to
download again from scratch.Or is there anyway to recover over500gb if not WARRNIG DONOT REFORMAT AGAIN! especially if you have allready transferred.?

Hi there I'm looking at changing my external hard drive for my Xbox one x my question is.

Is there any support for wireless hard drive connection with the Xbox one x I'm referring to game storage

Hi

As long as your console is online and connected to Xbox Live then you should not have lost any information. The next time you start playing one of the games it should download the game save from the Xbox servers.

Achievements and game saves are stored on the cloud. So the only thing you would have been transferring is the game data itself.

An external hard drive used on the One will work for the Series S/X, but won't have the exact same performance as the one created for the Series S/X.

Yes you can use it. You can use any external storage that the Xbox One supported on the Series X and S. However, external storage can only be used to play Xbox One games and BC Xbox 360 and original Xbox games.

Series X and S titles need to be run either from the internal SSD or the optional expansion card.

Series consoles.are different and are not considered Xbox one nor is it part of the name

Also any games.that are meant for the series consoles has to be on storage card or.internal memory

Xbox one games works regardless of Xbox one s or og or one x

And you can use any storage

But for Xbox series consoles there is only s or x not one s/x

And only games on optimized nvme or the Xbox nvme storage card will download the series version

If you put it on external it would only download the Xbox one as you arent running thr optimized nvme
