External Storage: Coming Soon

It would be nice to have this sooner than later. I know we can all but guess but a lot of players are nearly out of space and will have no choice but to delete and make room for newer titles, meaning if they wanted to play a game they deleted they have to
go through the inconvenience of the long install / download again.

Timelines are subject to change. We at least know now that there is a timeline and it's closer to sooner than later. That's better than no timeline.

 

So long as its coming, that's all that matters. Sooner than later but we knew support wasn't there before purchasing so I can only grumble so much lol

this is good news i hope ms make it so we can use most hard drives and not just ones they sel. also the ps4 wont have external hard drives so this could give the xbox one a sleight edge

 

It's good news, I don't need it right now, I traded in a few games when Titanfall came out, so they got deleted, Titanfall will get traded in when Wolfy arrives, so that will get deleted, but eventually there will be games I want to keep, Sniper V3 will
probably be the first and storage space will be a problem sooner or later.

Sooner rather than later would be good I'm down to 28%

 

I haven't used up much space yet but I look forward to getting this so its not a hassle when more games I like start coming out.

 

I'll be glad when this update is out.

I know you can just delete games off your hard drive, but because now you have to install all games it won't leave much space, not a problem now but it will when my games library builds up.

I don't like deleting games either because if I fancy a quick game of something, I don't want to wait a couple of hours to play it lol.

 

I downloaded Dead Rising 3 (the biggest game I personally own) in roughly 30 mins. People really do need to get on there ISPs. They are the key ones holding us back at the moment.

 

But you are limited to where you live. I've been with 3 different providers and all similar speeds, so not really our fault we holding you back lol.

But installing the game itself that doesn't require broadband still takes a while, as I said before, if I fancy a quick game of something I don't really want to wait at all.

 

@Galactic. It's not news because it's been mentioned SEVERAL times. It's the same as if I made a thread "New Halo game coming soon to XBOX One ". It's no longer news.
