    External HDDs not appearing in lastest build, games that were installed on them unusable


    With the lastest build, I am running into an issue where my 2 external harddrives are not appearing as available in my storage and the games that are installed on those drives are currently not available. I have filed a report through the Insider Hub.

    In trying to work around this issue, a full power cycle appears to have solved the issue.

    Were they on an external HDD or were they on the internal HDD of the console?

    If external are all of the games that were on the external missing? If so try unplugging the external HDD from the console and then plugging it back in. If that does not work try plugging it into another USB port on the console.

    If internal HDD then someone would have had to go on the console and request to uninstall the game from the console and you would need to just go into my games and apps and redownload and install. Or if it is a disc game you would need to put the disc back
    in and reinstall.

    Hi!

    If you had the game installed on external HDD, make sure that it was correctly detected by the console. It is likely that you do not see the games that were installed there.

    If the games are disabled, if you have them on an external HDD will not appear in the main console, if you have problems with HDD I would advise you to contact the assistance.

    Are the games needing updates installed on the internal HDD? Do you have enough free space on the internal HDD? AFAIK, game updates are installed to the same HDD where the game is located. Try moving games from the internal HDD to the external HDD and
    then attempt to update them.
