    External HDD

I am looking to pickup an external HDD for my Xbox One X to expand its storage space. I'd like some sizeable room so I am willing to go with something with its own power supply and wanted to ask everyone if they have a recommended size / brand that is their
go-to that they've had good luck with in the past.

    Thanks!

    :)

External hard drive - clarification needed please

I haven't tried using an external hdd yet but I'm under the impression that it does whatever the internal hdd does. It would be pretty stupid if we're not allowed to do some things with the external, maybe if it has anything to do with copyrighted materials but I'm sure you can use it for personal contents. I think the X1 plays mp4 only.

Yes External HDD support is available. The External HDD must be at least 256GB in size and use USB 3.0. Keep in mind that the External HDD will have to be formatted for use with the Xbox One console.

    Good day

Just make sure that it has USB 3.0 and more than 256GB in storage.

As for my choice i will go with a Seagate.

    Hi!

I would aswell recommend you to go with Seagate - no issues as long as you go with 256GB+ and USB 3

    Black Friday Sales are near

I would look for a 4TB Westen Digital or Seagate.

2TB vs 4TB you get more for your money and it is better than running out again

I'm going to chime in on your question as well. But not with a recommendation but with some information for you.

You can have up to 3 USB 3.0 external drives connected to your console for extra storage space. They can range in size from 256 GB - 16 TB in size so you could potentially have up to 49 TB of storage space depending on the internal hard drive size of your
    console.

Ultimately the final decision on an external drive is up to you but now you know what you can be looking for.

  12. It doesn't really matter which brand you go for, they all work pretty well. I myself use toshiba, maxtor & Seagate. The seagate drive (Xbox game drive) is the only one I have had issues with.

Borderlands 3 took too long to start - Error 0x8027025A - Possible hardware issue?

Do you have available any External HDD? If you have you can try to find if is a hardware issue in the Internal HDD by installing the games in a external hdd.
