External hdd no longer recognized by Preview program registered XB1

Console is no longer recognizing Toshiba external hdd. Blue light is lit, and does flash on connecting to XB1. I have tried recommended steps (switching USB ports, unticking setting to turn off storage when console is off, set Power mode to Instant-on
and rebooted console several times,

I have checked the drive. Windows (10) did report the correct storage space in disk management. Declined initializing drive when prompted.

Any suggestions besides re-partitioning and reformatting drive? I had quite a few downloaded games on it, and I'd prefer to not have to download them again (my ISP has instituted new caps for downloads). This problem seems to only have shown up since the
last update a few days ago, but that may be co-incidental.

Unless you're in the Preview Program. It appears that those participating, like myself, have been having issues where the external hard drive is no longer recognized since the latest update under the Preview Program.

Same here, in the preview program. Using external WD 2TB not recognized now.

 

You should post in the preview forums where you will get the support you need.

 

Yeah, I looked for them but was never able to see the preview forums. Looks like I'll be contacting support to see if they can get me set up properly do I can even post in the preview forums to get an answer on this.

 

Can you see the Xbox Early access top off this page just hover over it in the dropdown you will see Update Preview Forums that will take you to the wave page you need the 1603 which is the first in the list that takes you to the main page.

If you don't see any of that post here and I'll give your GT to preview support or one of the support might see this and sort it for you can you confirm are the first and last letters a upper case I or lower case L Thanks.
