    External HDD disconnects at random


    The external hard drive connected to my series X keeps disconnecting and reconnecting at random very often. Started happening after the latest Alpha Skip Ahead update.

    Complex External Hard Drive Issue

    Try this it has worked for some with external HDD issues. Disconnect the External HDD. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug
    the power cord back in and restart the console (DO NOT connect the External HDD). Once it is back up and operational then connect the External HDD and test for results. Good Luck!

    Hi!

    If you have the game installed on an external HDD, try disconnecting the HDD and connecting it to a different USB port. Turn on the console and try to start the game again.
