Im having a problem with one of my external *Seagate2T* Hdrive, keeps saying intermittently *External ready to use* iv formatted the seagate via Pc... When plugged in Xb.X it recognizes drive but then doesnt ? Jst out of warranty Q: Has the DRIVE terminated
itself? anyone else?

There are three USB 3.0 ports on the Xbox One console: two ports on the rear of the console, and another port on the left side of the console for easy access. (

The transfer cable is most likely the problem. If it isn't an official one, it thinks the HDD is a 16GB USB flash drive, no matter the actual size.

Something VERY bizarre is happening! I used my external HD to transfer all content from my old Xbox HD, to my new 320gb HD. There is absolutely NOTHING on my external HD now. Yet I've found if I start skyrim up and plug in my external HD it sees the DLC?!?!
There is no Skyrim content on my external HD only the Xbox HD! I will also add that I originally downloaded both DLCs to my old 250Gb Xbox HD so the licences is still on there. I'll also add I'm connected to Xbox live so licenses should not matter!!

Hello again, if you tested your external HD on another console and it also turned off, it means that there is some problem with your external HD, but it may be on the cable or even in the HD box.

To echo blue. Minimum is 3.0 USB. 256GB external HD. And You can use up to 2 5TB external HD. So 10 TB
