    External HD issues

I have attached an external HD. I can see it in system settings. I have formatted it. However whenever I try to play Destiny, I get the error message "You must have an Xbox 360 Hard Drive in order to play Destiny." Don't know what else to do.

    :)

    Issues after using external HD

    Hi MINDxTRlCKS,

Sorry you're having issues with your Xbox. A couple of suggestions I could offer. 1. As a work around if these seem to be related to stand by, you can disable the instant on mode, and switch it to energy saving mode.

to see the process for changing your power settings. 2. If that doesn't help, or you don't wish to move away from the instant on, then you can try moving your games from your external drive, to your internal drive. After doing that, put the external
drive in a Windows machine, and format it NTFS. After doing that, you can put it back in the Xbox and set it up as a new drive.

    Hope this helps!

    Issues after using external HD

I recently started using a 1 tb external harddrive, and almost immediatley after started having dashboard, internet connection, and even non responding. If I unplug my external hd, all these issues go away. The harddrive seems to be working fine, storing
and playing games. It is extremely strange for these issues to be happening. I believe half of the issue may be that when the xbox goes in standby, it may need to restart the external hd? But the connection issues have to be the strangest. My friends list
will appear, but on the right bar it will say connect to the internet. If I unplug it, it will immediatley connect and show the xbox store/ads. Sometimes it will all work fine. But it has been quite annoying. Sorry for the lengthy post. But help would be appreciated!

How much HDD space you have you have on your external hard drive?

Destiny for Xbox 360 now requires as of September 2016, 30 GB of free space as explained in the description

    here.

And as a side note, Xbox Live Gold is required to play Destiny and its expansions. The expansions are also required to experience Destiny as well now too.

    External hd issue

The only solution to make the external harddisk work again is connect it to a pc and delete it or simply destroy the partition. The next time you connect it to the XBox One it suddenly appears and the menu asks how it should be formatted.

A very big shame on Microsoft for that stupid coders on the XBox Security

Xbox one external hard drive games audio crash

    Hello Vash,

Sorry for the issue with your audio on games. We recommend one of the games you are having an audio issue with, install it on the internal HD. Then unplug the external and try the game see if it still has audio issues. This will test to see if it the external
    HD or the Xbox.

    Thanks,

    Brad

External USB HD blocking wireless connection

    Hello Alex,

Thanks for the update on the issue. This is really weird as you state. What type of external do you have? There may be a component in the HD that causes this. Have you tried other external HD, or tried this external on a different console to see if it does
    the same thing?

    Thanks,

    Brad
