    External HD HELP!


    Ok so I have the three different xbox's and Ive used the same external on all three. Same issue keeps coming up. If i have a game installed on the internal xbox hd I never have any issues when i play them. But to save space and time I like to install many
    of my games on my external hd. Its the green xbox specific 2tb portable hard drive i bought from gamestop. So I never have any issues installing or with the system recognizing the hd. But on certain games it will either not load multiplayer maps when people
    in my party are playing already I am just staring at a loading screen, or in single player games if it comes to a load screen it won't let me past a certain point until i uninstall and reinstall the game at a later time. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS GOING ON. I
    know people with the same hard drive and nobody else has the issue.

    Xbox One Feedback

    I'd like MS to add a backup facility once they allow external storage. So you plug in an external HD and it automatically backs up every night or something. This would help for if something goes wrong and you need a repair or you buy a second console or whatever.

    Loading games off external Hard drive doesn't work (Xbox One)

    Hello ChickenTitan

    Sounds like the external HD is going bad. You can try and reformat the external, it will remove all content from it. But in certain instances it does help. If that doesn't and still doing the same then I would replace the external HD.

    Transferring saved data and games from XB1 internal HD to external HD

    Hey there,

    Make sure you have enough space available in your External HD for both games. Make sure you follow the steps QuickMythril posted. Moving the games from internal to external HD should work unless there isn't enough space available. Also make sure that the
    external HD is connected properly. Hope this helps :)
