external hd for (360) ....is there an specific hd?

I need an external hd to download (and play) my gold live games.......

My doubt is.......any external hd works?........or there is an especific 360 external hd?..... (Original xbox 360)

Also:

About size (any size works?) 1 tera? 500 gb? 250 gb? 350 gb?

Whats the best brand.?

Pendrive works?

.....if i have a game in the external hd (a) and this hd gets old........i can change the game from the hd (a) to the hd (b)?

or the game can´t be moved?

Games not registering downloaded DLC

Something VERY bizarre is happening! I used my external HD to transfer all content from my old Xbox HD, to my new 320gb HD. There is absolutely NOTHING on my external HD now. Yet I've found if I start skyrim up and plug in my external HD it sees the DLC?!?!
There is no Skyrim content on my external HD only the Xbox HD! I will also add that I originally downloaded both DLCs to my old 250Gb Xbox HD so the licences is still on there. I'll also add I'm connected to Xbox live so licenses should not matter!!

Transferring saved data and games from XB1 internal HD to external HD

Hey there,

Make sure you have enough space available in your External HD for both games. Make sure you follow the steps QuickMythril posted. Moving the games from internal to external HD should work unless there isn't enough space available. Also make sure that the
external HD is connected properly. Hope this helps

External USB storage on the 360 only supports 32GB. You would be better off using a USB flash drive so you don't have all the wasted space. Doesn't matter how big the drive is, the Xbox will only format 32GB for usage. You can assign a name to each storage
device and can transfer files easily.

Yes, 32GB is the limit for external USB devices on the 360. The system can take two 32GB USB storage devices attached at a time. Anything larger formatted by the 360 will have unused/wasted space.

I have a problem with my WD my book external hd. We lost power, a week ago, then all I could get to show on both internal, and external hd's, was the 360 games, I had downloaded a while back, not any of my xbx1 games. I finally unplugged my external wd
my book hd, and all my xbx1 games appeared. I'm not sure why, but I am guessing the power outage did something to my my book hd. I now show only xbx1 games, no 360 games, doesn't make sense. I just might buy a Seagate 1 or 2 tb hd, see if it works out better,
don't know how to check wd hd to see if it is functioning proper.
