    Hi Ive pre ordered and downloaded black ops 3 to my external hardrive, if I take my console and external hardrive round my friends will it work without corrupting the file ? As the external hardrive will be unplugged from my house to his. I did this last
    year and I had to re download the game at midnight which wasn't fun

    So just to be sure.

    I can use any external hardrive with the Xbox One. As in if I went and got like a 2TB external hardrive I can use that for my digital game downloads.

    Hi there external hdd support is coming sometime in 2014 and as far as battery indicator hopefully is coming in the update due to arrive sometime in march.

    Theres alot of stuff you can do on 360 you cant on xbox one. Background music player, play your own music and video files, stream ur fiels froma pc, set invert setting on a system level, easily access friends and invites. things need to change.
    My 360 allowed me to play my music back in 2005 yet my 2013 xbox one cant external hardrive o_O

    Guy above me. Go to the feedback forum. OP it coming in sometime this year. I can't say how much it supported. But I hope it can support like 4TB per drive. So I can get one 4TB external HDD and put alot crud on the thing. And it make it easy to bring my
    XB1 games to my dad. That if it digital. Because I would have more game to played then one disk and few digital games.

    do we have a more realistic date for external hardrive support, come on microsoft im down to 31 gig left, the games i have are mainly multiplayer and i have not completed them so removing them is not a valid option. i am going to have to purchase multiplatform
    games on my ps4 as sony had the forsight to allow me to put a 1.5tb inside. This should of been a priority update

    what i did to fix it was got an external hardrive put all of my staff on my xbox harddrive and put it on the external

    and i formatted the xbox hardrive

    then i run the update and it worked

    Which Xbox One model would be best 4 me?

    Currently it would be hard to find an Xbox One with a hardrive with more than 500GB, that being said you should invest in either an external hardrive or a new hardrive with at least a 1TB.
