Hi, Thanks for posting in the forums.

If you have a windows laptop/ computer, try seeing if it works on there.

I’d also suggest downloading a software called Seatools (seagate). This will allow you to diagnose and identify any problems with the drive.

Also check to see if it’s within warranty, if it is you can get it replaced or refunded. You can check this here.

I experienced the same problem with my external drive and this helped, so hopefully it does for you too.

It would have to be the inside of the xbox or cord

Maybe your hardrive is full

if not maybe your hardrive cant register your account
