External Hardrive keeps disconnecting from xbox after 30 seconds.

Hello,

I was hoping someone anyone could help me with this issue. I have a perfectly good drive that for whatever isn't being recognized by my Xbox. I've tried disconnecting and then reconnecting it several times with no luck. I've tried doing a hard reset, nothing
seems to work. Any ideas????? Thank you in advance.

It doesnt have its own power supply. Its connected directly to the Xbox itself. It's a Seagate Model SRD00F1

You tried change the usb ports to see if the problem contiue? Try change usb port and if you can, try change the usb cable too.

If the insues persist can be some problem on your usb port console. For make test on you USB port console, try connect some other device, like a controller and see if you have some insues too

had this with alot of drives too,

on pc, xbox and tv.

all i can say, mostly it was the chase and with this a power problem with the board in the hdd chase.

and there is sometimes another problem.

some hdd chases turn of the hdd after a short time, its along time agoi i see some of this hdd chases, but they can make problems on the xbox. (some of them)

I haven't tried the company's supporter page. I will try that but to answer your question I have a Seagate Model SRD00F1.
