    Hi everyone,

    Since 1 Week I have some problems with my 2TO Seagate external DD.

    When i put a CD inside my xbox one, it takes about 20seconds to launch the game..

    It's full at only 25% (1.3 TO Free on 1.8TO)

    I don't think it's my optical drive because when i put a bluray inside, it launch immediately.

    It's not a problem in fact because all my games work but it's just boring to wait 20 seconds to launch any games...

    Any tips ?

    Thanks for the reply, ive got a few more questions if that's ok ? 1. When I get prompted to download a system update where would that memory be taken from internal or external drive. 2. Game updates would the memory get taken from whatever Hardrive the full
    game is on. 3. If I remove the Hardrive or it breaks are my digital games and save data gone ?

    External Hardrive ISSUE

    The hard drive has either gone corrupt or defective.

    You will need to plug it into a Windows PC and reformat (as NTFS). This will erase the drive, so you'll have to install/download your games again.

    If the hard drive is not being detected at all by your PC, it may have gone bad. One way to especially tell if a hard drive has gone defective is to put it up against your ear and listen for repetitive patterns of clicking noises.

    Ok but why is the hardrive constantly seeking ? It's not like it's installing anything the hardrive should only be heard for 10 seconds every hour. Or so not 10 mins every 20 mins

    Tv won't work on my xbox one.

    I am a part of the update previews and people were saying this was an issue in the private preview forums. I experienced this issue as well, although my issue was it was taking about 20 seconds to launch the TV app.

    if you have an external hardrive try taking that off then starting it then turning it off and replacing the drive. it fixed mine last night!

    My Xbox one only shows installed games on external HDD with system connected to internet.

    You have to format the external hardrive to be able to install games to it
