Discus and support External harddrive in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; soooo... i come home from work, race to my doctors appointment. 2 hours later. Get home again turn on my xbox.     soooo... i come home from work, race to my doctors appointment. 2 hours later. Get home again turn on my xbox. And everything is uninstalled. Oh wait... MY BRAND NEW XBOX ONE S... IS NOT READING MY 3TB WESTERN DIGITAL POWERED My Book HARDDRIVE. So now all
    my games that are on it... cant be played. I switched ports. Restarted my xbox. NOTHING!!! Then I looked and seen that an update came @ 1:17a.m on 5-31-2017. Im sick of your updates going south or having glitches and you not openly saying that you messed
    up. My stuff is brand new. On surge protectors. And because of your update... I cant even relax when I get home from a complete sh*t day!!! Thanks again Hex Box.

    Have you tried changing the hdd?

    If external harddrive will eventually be supported then I'll wait and see how it goes. I just hope that the update will be released before the harddrive is full and I have to start deleting stuff off of it. From the video, it seems that the Xbox One and PS4 work the same way I don't get why Microsoft don't let people swap out the harddrive.

    Just wondered if there was a way for the xbox one to pick up an external harddrive as I download a lot of films and alot of tv series then put them on my externtal harddrive and wanted to watch em useing th xbox one is that possible or does anyone know if
    it will bbe in the future

    You said you have 200gbs free, is that on an external harddrive? if it's on an external harddrive you may need to clear up space on the console itself

    If you have an external harddrive try unplugging it and doing a hard reboot. I had this issue in the past and come to find out it was due to a faulty external harddrive.

    Lost storage space

    Plug in your external harddrive into a pc and check to see if it there in not you can wipe the harddrive.

    Now I'm not sure this will work for everyone but what i did was moved game from External harddrive to internal and it plays now. Then i just moved it back to my external harddrive.

    Xbox one won't detect any wireless connections

    Do you use an external harddrive with USB 3.0? Buy a new cable for the harddrive or don‘t use it.
