    I would try this. Disconnect both drives, hard reset your system (press and hold power button for 10 seconds then power it back on). Plug back in just one of the drives and see if it works.

    If it doesn't, try plugging it into a different USB port. If still no luck, plug it back into your computer, formatting as NTFS (or converting it to NTFS) then try again.

    Do they have their own power source, or do they just plug in via USB? If they plug in via USB only it could be for some reason they are not getting enough power. You could try an external drive with it's own power source and see if that one works.

    I recently purchased a WD 4tb my book with separate power supply and it's a beast, no issues so far.

    if you search you will find over 100 threads asking this question.

    Everyones opinions will differ, but my opinion is that a 2TB SSHD (hybrid) drive is unbeatable in value and performance

    Hi both are usb3 , both are to be used for games storage only, I formatted them fat32 but when I we heck for them on storage in system neither will show only the internal, very strange, is there anything in my settings that would do that.?

    I have now purchased to external hard drives, one is Samsung. 2tb the other is blue endless which is 750 gb both have formatted for Xbox one on my laptop, but neither. Show up in my storage, have tried everything including buying two new cables, any suggestions,
    besides turn off turn on, honestly I think I have done everything, pulling my hair out,
    I only came online as none of the things on that helped, it did say if none of the above helped I was to go online, but you only referred me back to this.

    Are they USB 3.0 drives? When you plug it into the Xbox does it prompt you to format it (making games and apps be able to be saved to it) or use it as a storage device?
