External Hard Drive. Which one?

I have a 1tb western digital my passport drive plugged into mine and it does the job brilliantly, had no issues whatsoever. Out of personal preference I avoid Seagate drives due to having bad luck with them in regards to build quality and bad sectors issues.

I just got my Xbox One yesterday and I was wondering what is the recommended External HDD? I don't need it now, but I will be keeping an eye out for it (the recommended External HDD) should it go on sale or something

there is no recomended Lei Fang - you can buy what you want, just make sure its USB 3.0

 

Yes iBakez is right on the money as long as it is 3.0 USB it should be good. Western digital and Seagate drive seem the most popular. Are you in Aussieland Lei Fang? If so JBHIFI and Officceworks are the places to go for cheap hard drives. Welcome to the

Hey Lei Fang, glad to see you got your Xbox One, welcome to the Next Generation. Major Nelson uses the Seagate Expansion 5TB. I found this to be satisfactory myself, as I am using the same one. Just 3 TB.

Hey Lei Fang... That is a bargain. And you are not kidding regarding back log. I would just keep an eye out for savings and deals for external hard drives. I bought mine when it was 70$ off on Amazon. I couldn't pass that up. Enjoy your Xbox One and Forza

I would most definitely pick-up an External HDD if it goes on sale

For me, not building up a game back-log is an issue because when a game goes on sale; it becomes a must purchase item.

Then, before you know it, you have 3 or 4 games that are still unopened because they were purchased on sale.

I will do my best to have a "buy a game & then finish that game before buying another one" policy, but it typically doesn't work out that way LOL

Hey Lei Fang, I know right! That sounds like exactly what I do. I have a backlog of over 10 games right now. Some I mostly played already, but I would love to play again before we get crushed by a wave of games this fall!

Hey Lei Fang, I agree with your 1, 2, 3, and would like to add Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition which comes out in 8 days! I will be getting that.

 

I bought a Toshiba 1tb. its end up to loose the all the games I saved on it and slow down my entire console. I change for WD my book 4tb and its perfect.
