    I am going to buy an external hard drive, and was wondering if you can only transfer games and apps from the storage, or all storage, including the system stuff that comes on the Xbox one already.

    okay so I have a question, I have a 250gb external hard drive and Im wanting to buy a slim model and those have the internal hard drives, and I want to be able to transfer over all my data, so question is can I do it using the old transfer cables/CD that
    i used to transfer the data using 2 external hard drives? will there be any issues that I need to worry about?

    If you have an external hard drive transfer the game over, then delete it off of the external drive.

    The external hard drive was around 20% full. After the I formatted the external hard drive it went down to 0% as everything was uninstalled. Thing is i tried transfering Battlefield 1 from the internal hard drive to the now empty external hard drive and
    it started transferring. Battlefield 1 was one of the games that just stopped installing/transferring when i wanted to move from the internal to the external hard drive so i might of fixed the problem. Now i am just concerned that the games that were uninstalled
    will not have anyting saved and i will have lost everything.

    Yes you will! If you have an external hard drive, transfer it to that, then, when you get your next gen console plug the hard drive into the USB port and transfer it from the external to the SSD hard drive that is in your new xbox to enjoy the speeds and
    benefits of the new console!
