    Hi guys

    so I finally got to expand my memory (2tb) and decided to go all digital bc am tired of switching disc especially coming this holiday season with all these games coming out. What am wondering is if my hard drive all of sudden decided to die will I keep
    my saved games. I know I can reinstall games but am wondering were do save files go. I don't wanna be 60hr in fallout 4 then boom start all over. also if u know we're to go to see these saved files that would be awesome to know. I wanna move them to the internal
    (500gb), so if it does fail I keep my files.

    System Update Recommend Transferring all game saves and files to external hard drive and using the working internal hard drive as a back up drive that way the game saves and files are portable and you don't lose any data from the internal hard drive.

    About Xbox One Save Data Files...

    Can "Xbox One" games' save data files be copied onto a usb flash drive stick or onto an external hard drive and can they be edited like the Xbox 360 save game files can be???

    Yes they will be safe in the cloud even after a factory reset.

    Thx oh and u can see ur files in game management but u can only delete it.

    Using a portable HDD

    The small print at the bottom of the page that I linked for you mentions:

    "USB flash drive is not a hard drive."

    Xbox's connection with an external drive is read-only. You can only read files that are already on the drive after connecting. You can't save game files or anything else on the Xbox main drive onto an external hard drive.

    Getting new xbox 360 concern:

    There's not a cord that connects a 360 to a PC to transfer files. You would need to save them to a flash drive or external hard drive.
