    CrowBar, I agree, it's pretty much useless for gaming without external storage

    After applying an update this morning I can no longer see my external drive either. It worked fine for almost a year prior to this. I am in the preview program so I assume this is the issue? How can i correct this?

    Whats even better is I cant even use the preview program app to report the problem...because it doesnt think its installed!

    Mine was working fine last night now it's not reading my external HD either. Works fine on my pc. When will this be fixed?

    I just applied the 10.0.14393.1065 (rs1_xbox_rel_1608 160927-1900) fre update. My external drive is now working.

    Having the same problem since last week, can no longer use any of my external drives for media playback. Was being used every day before. May just have to root out my 360.
