    External Hard Drive Gone Missing


    I have used a wd passport 4tb external hard drive for months and i woke up one morning to use it for media which is what i always used it for and it just disappeared, i have tried quick reformatting it, which lost everything on it and i did a full format which took 2 days, and i tried a hard reset or power cycle and it doesn't show up for some reason

    Can anyone help me?

    Something definitely changed I'm sure and the thing is I tried the hard drives on my own xbox's and at the store, 3 different ones did the exact same thing, I was told maybe because of this whole game drive issue seagate is marketing at a higher price vs regular hard drives that used to work perfectly fine, all of sudden nothing.

    Xbox can you resolve this matter as this happened only after your latest update.

    I tried seagate and western digital which is even more expensive and fliping neither are reading.

    Looks like you want consumers to turn to Playstation instead.
