External hard drive does not work after "Newest update"

I got the "Newest update about a month ago and caused problems with my Xbox so support had me go back to the "Current dashboard" and now my external hard drive does not work. ( before anyone asks) I was in a chat with support for 2 hrs doing everything possible
to resolve this issue all the way up to partitioning my hard drive down to 1.8tb and, resetting my Xbox to factory defaults.... So question is does anyone know how to fix this issue.

P.S Yes I did re-format it to NTFS

Media Player No Devices Found

Hello,

I have a 500mb external hard drive (formatted FAT32). I have been using it on my Xbox One for the first 10 months, then after the update with the new layout it does not recognize my hard drive, or any of my hard drives for that matter. Help?

Mine did that too, but if you do a hard reset it should work just fine.
