Is there a way to back out the latest XBOX ONE update?

Since the latest update has been applied I have been having intermittent issues with applications taking to long to start. This happens with the TV app or any game I try to play. It also happens when I try to start any other app like netflix. There are
no set indications as to when this will happen, it appears to be random and it happens several times during the week. The only way to fix this issue is to hard reset the system and then things seem to be fine. In the past this issue would only occur maybe
once in a great while, maybe three or four times since I have had the system, which has been since April of 2014. Ever since the latest update I have since this issue 30 or more times

I am also seeing an issue with the external hard drive. Every time I have to hard reset the system the external hard drive is not detected, at least not until I unplug he USB cable and plug it back in.

Also on a general note, my general impression is that the system has gotten slower not faster. From my perspective the system seemed much speeder prior to the latest November update.

Quick Fix? - New Dashboard preview update problem

Unplug your external hard drive and do a hard reboot. Then when your Xbox is back on the home screen, plug your external hard drive back in. I had that same problem.

The latest update should have fixed that problem though. Go to Settings and System to see if there is an available update.

External hard drive compatibility issue since the latest April system update

    Hi GHURAB10,

Sorry you're having issues with your external hard drive. To answer your immediate question, no, the recent Xbox Update should work with hard drives that were previously compatible. If you're having issues with a hard drive I would suggest following

    this article
for troubleshooting steps. If you're still having issues after that, please post back detailing the exact issue you're having, and the hard drive make / model.

    Hope this helps!

It's known if you re-format the device to anything running FAT32 (Xbox 360, P.C) and then reformat it to run NTFS then it'll work. I'd also note that if you do, do that it'll delete anything saved to the drive such as games, apps any files that were transferred
to the device will be lost and will need to be recovered.

External hard drive no longer recognised..

Unless you're in the Preview Program. It appears that those participating, like myself, have been having issues where the external hard drive is no longer recognized since the latest update under the Preview Program.

    External Storage

    Hi there,

As far as I know this isn't a issue with the latest update, I haven't been experiencing any issue like this, but since there are a lot of different make and models.

Since it could still be the hard drive in combination with the console, I do advise to see if there is an option to try your external hard drive on a different Xbox One to see if it does the same thing on that console.

You could also try a different hard drive on your console to see how that works.

This is to determine if this is caused by your hard drive or the console.

Also what is the make and model of the external hard drive to have others in here verifiy.
