External hard drive and game sharing

So i jave a question and it is, of i buy an external hard drive so i can have more space for games on my xbox can i still game share those games that ive bought digitally and are now stored on the hard drive. e.g i buy a game and it data is stored on the
external hard drive could the xbox im game sharing with still play that game.

Yes. It doesn't matter if the game is stored on the internal hard drive or external.

yes you can just make sure that its pluged in all time to your xbox do you can game share, if you can afford it get a SSD drive you will see a vast difference in load up times of your games

All that matters is that the console is set as your Home in order to share the game. Other than that, it doesn't matter what storage device the game is on.
