    External hard disk block

    hi everyone,

I have a problem with my external hard disk 2tb on xbox one. When there is a game update (and this game is placed on my external hard disk), the update remains on 0% and the led starts blinking forever. The console doesn't turn off normally but only when
i touched I/O for 10 seconds(to clear caches). After that, i don't find my game updated but i have to start download entire game!

    Anyone have this problem?

My external drive is a Toshiba 2tb.

    thanks.

    :)

    External Hard disk

    Hi all,

got a problem and hopefully xbox might help fixing it:

i've an external hd that both osx and win cannot read anymore, but...if i plug it to xbox i can see everything in it (video, photo, music,..)

is there a way to use xbox to transfer all the folders/files from this hd to a different one??

thanks beforehand to who can suggest something.

    bye

    SirGeorge

Sorry, but unfortunately Xbox 360 Consoles aren't designed to natively read hard drives formatted for non-Xbox machines. Although you may be able to save some of the data (videos, music, photos, etc.) to your Xbox 360 Hard Drive, it is ultimately not designed
for data recovery. I suggest using a data recovery program on a Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux computer to recover your files.

Does a 360 hard drive slow down a xbox slim?

    Hello Propane,

if im not mistaken Xbox arcade didnt have any hard disk but you could have the external hard disk, while Xbox slim has an internal, you cant use the external hard drive on your slim, unless you modded it which is not legal.

    Xbox One/external SSD

Ntfs format is required for external hard disk or USB drive.
