External Functionality

When are we going to see an update to this website, to make the Xbox One more accessible? Like, with a functional marketplace and interface similar to the 360 section of the website?

Would be nice to be able to see new games and add-on content on the website, especially on release nights.

External wireless keyboard functionality

I purchased a Logitech USB wireless keyboard, model K400, for $30.

With the unifying dongle plugged into the Xbox1 the keyboard works great everywhere you'd want to type instead of typing with the standard game controller.

This keyboard has a mouse-pad (touch-membrane and mouse buttons) similar to that found on most laptops, in place of where the numeric keypad would be.

PLEASE ADD a driver for this keyboard so the mouse-pad will work instead of having to go back to the controller when mouse functions are desired.

It would be awesome if beyond the mouse-pad, other functions or special keys on the keyboard functioned as well.

I asked that very question to a member of Xbox support here on the support forums. They don't have a date set, but would very much like it, like the rest of us.

However, it only lists the full game and not all the add-ons just yet. But new games do get listed on release day.

Console is functioning now. External still unplugged. Looks like it needed one more hard reset.

Hi there,

the only way to let it turn off is to use the fast bootup on the xbox with the setting to turn of external drives, (but this can take a while).

the "problem" is that there is a small amount of power on the ports to check/and load external usb devices.

so lets say, its normal on the xbox one that external drives wont power down,

but wait,

there are some external chases that can make a power down of the drive if the port goes in power save mode.

dont ask me for the name of this function, its been a long time i have seen this function.
