External drive support?

Yah, thanks Growling. I tried it anyways and still got the Blue light This should have been available since day one though since most blue ray players allow access too 3.0 usb Hard drives.

 

Had the update, Hard drive connected and up and running. Now just add the Kinect back to every console so it will get supported and I'll be happy (for now )

 

I used the WD drive I post below and worked (But had problem below) and I used another drive for Music, then the Game/App dive disappeared (The WD drive below) I contacted Xbox support (Even though I know what I'm doing (IT technician for 25+ years MS, Cisco,
and more Certified).

Well I'm not going to tell you all that they said to do as it made the 2nd drive to stop working.

What I did after was 1-Turn off unplug (I did for over an hour)

2- Boot up (With nothing hooked up) and reset to Factory

3- Hooked up the WD drive and set it up for Games/Apps to be installed there

4- Reinstall Games and Apps (Game info will reinstall from Xbox One Cloud)

5- Hooked up other drive and it was setup as Ext. Storage (Cancel when asked to Format to One)

I got a WD MyBook and I like it, but it doesn't shut down like it does with a computer

I say Xbox needs to make the Xbox One power off USB when you turn the One off

Please fix this issue Xbox
