    External drive no longer recognized (alpha skip ahead)


    Been a couple days since I turned on the Xbox (Xbox One X). Latest update was downloaded and installed automatically. However, when I booted up the Xbox, apparently my external hard drive is no longer recognized (doesn’t see it at all). After a hard restart, sometimes it’s recognized for a few minutes, but then is gone again. Not ruling out the failure being on the external hard drive, but wondering if others have experienced similar issues and if there were any resolutions.

    In the alpha skip ahead, still no update. "Alpha Skip Ahead" clearly means something else... :')

    It is only for alpha and alpha skip ahead unfortunately for now.

    Okay please read the whole paragraph before reply, this issue is very funky and specific.

    Today, July 15, New Xbox Preview Alpha Skip Ahead update fixes the issue with transfer content to external HDD. Hope this is finally what we’re waitinf for to answer our dilemma.
