Extends Screen time via email not working

When my son runs out of time he sends a request to extend his screen time from his Xbox. This extension is sent to me via email. I then click on the time extension link I want (15 mins, 30 min, 1 hour, etc.) Until recently every time I clicked on the
link it opened a page in the browser that goes to the "Your Family" page with an acknowledgement that the time was added and then my son can play with the extended time. All of a sudden, clicking on the link takes me to the "Your Family" page and does not
display the acknowledgement and my son doesn't get the extension.

I tried logging out and back in, I tried clearing cookies and my browser cache and it still does not work. I tried having y son logout and log back into the Xbox and that didn't work either.

Also note.I tried clicking on the link from my Windows 10 machine AND my Android phone with the same result

Do you know how the additional time is being added? Via the Microsoft Account family website? Or via a code on the console itself to authorize the extended time? That might also help provide more pointed troubleshooting for this issue for you.

More screen time must be requested. An alternative would be to extend the time allotted if you so chose to.

are you guys receiving these emails to the email address that they asked for the email that is not associated with your xboxlive account
