Extended Warranty for Xbox One X

I’m just wondering, is there an extended warranty programme for the Xbox One X, like there was when the original Xbox One was released?

Xbox one complete bought in store not reflected online

Has anyone else bought the extended warranty for Xbox one in store? I bought the extended warranty for Xbox and kinect in store (Microsoft store). After registering the console on the Xbox myservices website, it does not recognize the extended warranty,
showing that the warranty expires after one year (standard manufacturers).

Is this normal thal that the website does not reflect the extended warranty or did the store not activate it properly (associate it to my xbox one)?

Warranty Purchase in Melbourne Australia

Hi,

Trying to purchase an XBOX One X from a retail shop here in Melbourne. How do i purchase the Microsoft Extended Warranty from Microsoft.

There is only one shop of Microsoft here in Australia and that is in Sydney. will All customers of XBOX have to travel within the 45 day period to Sydney to buy the extended warranty.

Microsoft Complete Care program. If that is not available for you, perhaps contact the retailer you purchased it from as they often can add extended warranties after the purchase.

I have already pre-ordered the Xbox Series X. Is there a way to pay for an extended warranty after the fact or would i have to wait to until launch or is it just not an option now?

I have the same question. I have pre-ordered the Series X on Xbox.com, but I was not offered an option for an extended warranty at the time of the pre-order and I cannot find any place on Xbox.com to add a warranty now.

Hello AniaS,

Thank you for replying back. In regards to this issue with fixing your console, all Xbox One consoles whether they be Original Xbox One's, Xbox One S' or Xbox One X, have a limited one year warranty for repair. You can get an extended 3 year warranty
for extra cost, however there isn't an option for a 2 year warranty. If the console goes out of warranty it will have a cost and it will be around the price you mentioned for an Xbox One X. For more info on warranties you can view this support article for

Hi Stugod2k,

sorry to hear. And yes you are right as a EU member your console has got a 2 year warranty periode.
And until the spring, there was actually no problem with the warranty periods displayed under
https://account.microsoft.com/devices/. But sometime after some design Change of the webside,
we were shown the wrong periods!!!!

And I think if your check your device you will be also redirected to the US Servers. I have tested this with my ONE X which should be also still in a warranty periode and I also
redirected on the us Server and they say NO WARRANTY (and my was bought december 2018!!!)!!!
Hopefully this are only network problems and they will fix it.

But you have to reach the support by phone (like XBF Brad A wrote) or you force your dealer to argue with MS.
