Extended Service Plan

Just wanted to say how absurd it is that I'm unable to purchase an extended warranty. I mean I shouldn't have to but I am willing to ensure that my console will remain operational yet I am unable to. I'm only posting here as I know is pointless contacting
again and here seems to be the only place I may get an answer / helpful response. Admins feel free to move this if its in the wrong section.

I've spoken to a representative online and over the phone and its just useless. The online agent said I should ring up as it shouldn't be a problem (considering my circumstance) and the agent on the phone said its not possible.

I've had my Xbox since Day One however I was unaware of initial 45 day period in which to register for the 3 years warranty (a leaflet in the box would've been appreciated!). A few months ago I received a replacement Xbox due to it still being covered by
the 1 year warranty, after which in the online service center there was an option to extend my plan. It even had an offer of 2 for 1 year. Yet every time I try nothing happens, I've periodically tried every couple of weeks and decided that today since my plan
expires in 3 days I would push a bit harder.

What makes it worse is that I actually bought a years warranty with the retailer Game, which I purchased the console from (Still even have the receipt). So its not for lack of trying on my end.

Would appreciate it if a representative would look at this and be gracious enough to help. Because lets be honest the console isn't that durable and I'm not buying another one when it shouldn't be an issue to actually
pay for more warranty from the product's company and not some 3rd party.

Apparently 360 has an extended service plan.

Xbox support says i can not renew my Extended Service Plan, that you are only aloud to extend it for two years,but yet they told me i did it three times.

My console has had the RROD multiple times, the no disc error, disc tray wont eject error, and i just got it back from repair for the eject button not working

and now they wont let me renew my warranty, has any one else had this problem.

 

Hey there, Vicousvern! I'm very sorry to see any confusion surrounding this situation! The Microsoft Complete for the Xbox One is only available for 45 days after you purchase your console. Since this was a new feature at the time of launch for the Xbox
One, information was spread through our Xbox Wire page. For more information on the extended warranty, please check out our
Microsoft Complete for Xbox One page. Once the console it out of warranty, we will still repair it for a fee.
