Extended service plan problems

Can't get the ESP from the xbox service center it just keeps giving me errors exsept one time it let me go all the way through just to say there was a prob with my bank.

I duno maybe its cos i am using a debit card? does it have to be a credit card? You only get 45 days after you buy you XB1 i have less than 20 days left really need to sort this asap.

Extended Service Plan

Just wanted to say how absurd it is that I'm unable to purchase an extended warranty. I mean I shouldn't have to but I am willing to ensure that my console will remain operational yet I am unable to. I'm only posting here as I know is pointless contacting
again and here seems to be the only place I may get an answer / helpful response. Admins feel free to move this if its in the wrong section.

I've spoken to a representative online and over the phone and its just useless. The online agent said I should ring up as it shouldn't be a problem (considering my circumstance) and the agent on the phone said its not possible.

I've had my Xbox since Day One however I was unaware of initial 45 day period in which to register for the 3 years warranty (a leaflet in the box would've been appreciated!). A few months ago I received a replacement Xbox due to it still being covered by
the 1 year warranty, after which in the online service center there was an option to extend my plan. It even had an offer of 2 for 1 year. Yet every time I try nothing happens, I've periodically tried every couple of weeks and decided that today since my plan
expires in 3 days I would push a bit harder.

What makes it worse is that I actually bought a years warranty with the retailer Game, which I purchased the console from (Still even have the receipt). So its not for lack of trying on my end.

Would appreciate it if a representative would look at this and be gracious enough to help. Because lets be honest the console isn't that durable and I'm not buying another one when it shouldn't be an issue to actually
pay for more warranty from the product's company and not some 3rd party.

 

Im in the same boat as you mate,

Took forever to get through (payment problems with the bank) and now that it has and I just recieved a confirmation email it's not being reflected through my Device Manager which still states that my warranty will run out sometime next year.

Absolutely infuriating because I've been charged already and the option to buy an ESP has disappeared.

What they hell Microsoft!

I would recommend contacting Microsoft Phone Support to help out with this issue as they should be able to get this squared away for you.
