Exporting Previous Games

I used to have RB 1-3 for the 360. I no longer have the disc copies. When I spoke with the person at Gamestop, he said that I don't need the discs, but RB 1 & 2 should be able to be downloaded and exported into RB 4. I've searched through the DLC, and got
all my previous songs, but didn't see anything about the previous games. Am I missing something, do I need the discs, or are the games not available for RB 4 yet?

RB Exporting / Importiny Question

you can pay to export the songs from lego rock band to rock band 3 but not the other way around. The way to look at it is you can export to the next game but not to a previous game. You cannot export beatles rockband though.

Did you previously export RB1 and RB2 to RB3? The exports are no longer available, but if you had previously exported them, you will get them in RB4 in early 2016. The RB1 songs actually just popped up on the Xbox Store this week, but aren't available for
download just yet.

I don't know if this should be obvious, but does the code on the back of the RB2 manual only work once? Like, I'm thinking about buying 2 and 3 on ebay, but if I get them both, I'd want to be able to export the songs from 2. If it's used, and the previous
owner already exported, will I not be allowed to do it again?

For Rock Band 1 you need to start the original game, choose to export and pay the export fee. For Rock Band 2 you need to choose the export option, enter the code from the Rock Band 2 manual and pay the export fee. If you do not have the original discs/manuals
you will not be able to export the songs.

Like stuart says, yes, work for some games.

One exemple is Rock band 3 DLC's to RB4, if you previosly purchase the songs for RB3 you can download the same track at no coast on RB4.

If DC that you say is Dace Central ? I don't try it, but i have 2 exports packs from previous games: DC1 and DC2.

You could always back it up to an external drive before the export, delete the exported 360 save after export, and then copy the original back and play as if you never did it.
