Exploiting the XBL reputation system

I believe someone is exploiting the reputation system on XBL by reporting top players and making false reports.

My reputation report shows that I have had a good reputation for the past 6 months until just this month. Where I have been reported 9 times for cheating. The same is true for other top players in EA UFC 2 such as "Spaarlk, ExistentialWar, and dopetoken".

EA UFC 2 has a relatively small playerbase already, and once your reputation hits "avoid me" you cannot find matches. Hindering top players from finding matches and keep their spot on the leaderboards.

There is also no cheats in UFC2 so I do not understand how the reports of cheating even went through your "resilient" system.

I am a legitimate top player in the game and I take pride in that, I would also like to play the game without fear of people reporting me just because I beat them in a match.

Its very easy to tell that this has been rigged if you just look at the players reputations that I have mentioned above and my own, you will see that most the complaint have probably happened in the past week and it just so happens to be other top players
with the same issue.

About the new rep system

As soon as the cry baby exploiting abusers get their grubby hands on it good players REP will be wrongly reported.

Like Owen said, all it will take is beating a few clans or groups of sore losers and boom, broken reputation system.

 

Xbox One Match Making & Rep System abuse

Almost everything on the Xbox 360 has been abused and exploited in some way lol I've been on XBL for about four years now and have only reported two people for BLATANT TOS violations. But some folks feel the need to ding someone for any little thing, especially if that "thing" involves them losing a match.

From what I've read, Microsoft is revamping their reputation system to weed out the false reports and only deal with the ones that clearly violate policy. How well this new system will work out remains to be seen, but they at least acknowledged it. Which is a step in the right direction. I personally don't believe it will ever be 100% accurate but if people know they can't just push a button and ruin someone's day, they might think twice before doing so.

 

i have had xbox for 11 years from xbox to xbox 360 to xbox 1. never have had a issue always have been a good player as far as reputation. recently 2 months ago i got into EA SPORTS UFC 2 and changed alot of things for me. i started to stream via twitch and
everything took off. i am currently #1 in the world on UFC have people all over the world watch me and now i cannot get a fight and i will tell you why. i have 60 complaints 32 cheating 28 unsporting behavior . after a fight someone will go to my GT and go
to report and report me. as adding a comment. " bought ufc points to make his fighter better then me" or he is better then me i would like to avoid him. so now currently i cannot play on my account. i have tried everything playing other games. i also looked
on my enforcement history and noticed that 20 people have reported me today and i havent even been online . this system is killing me. i have spent endless amounts of hours to be where im at. on top of over 5k money in my pocket. just for someone to be able
to report me and avoid my GT. It is happening to all the top fighters in UFC 2 I Just want to play the game im known is as one of the best players and respected players in the community. there has to be some sort of actions some one can do for me.. all of
the ufc top fighters are getting there rep ruined and will soon be in my position i really hope there is a way to go around this

 

To be clear, this is just now an issue in the last week, we have been playing EA UFC since release in march, only the last week or so have the top players been suffering the reputation hits.

 

It's evident that both of you game pals take pride in beating other gamers online and that's fine for gaming is about competitiveness and personal achievement, yet keep in mind that is about sportsmanship too. Xbox live is a gaming community that cares about
its members and this how community looks at you right now so avoid the snippy comments after a victory or the taunts during the matches for they fit in the unsportsmanlike comments category. Anyway rep takes into account a wide range of data points, of which
community feedback is only one component.

Also I notice you guys are concentrated only at a certain game so you are bound to go against the same people again and a again. If you routinely receive negative feedback due to unsportsmanlike behavior or communications in a specific game or gametype,
it may become more challenging to find good matches or new players in that game title. By playing different games and interacting with other players in a positive and productive way, your reputation score can improve. For more info:

I have 5-6 unsportsmanlike conduct which in the case your talking about could be true, thats why I ddnt even mention those.

I have been reported 9 times for cheating in the past month after having a "good" rep for the previous 5 months.

I dont cheat and I dont even think there is a way to cheat on UFC2 besides lag switching, which I definitley dont do.

Furthermore, I shouldnt have to "play other games" Im getting ready for a $10,00 tournament and Im at risk of not being able to play matches because someone is falsely reporting me for cheating because they are upset for whatever reason.

Its not a coincidence that this is happening to many of the top players all at the same time.

 

I was told by customer service to post here in order to find a solution from experts on the enforcement side.

 

I am having the same problem with PES 2016 (soccer game) i have "AA" Deportivity Value the scale is... C, B, A, AA and AAA.

But when i won a match the lost player usually report me in VENGANCE and now i have AVOID ME REPUTATION and in my last 6 months i had GREN REP ALWAYS plus, i am XBL GOLD member for over 10 YEARS!

 

I have 10 cheating reports and 5 unsportsmanlike reports in the span of what seems like less than 2 weeks even though for 8 years my reputation was nearly impeccable. Considering there is no way to cheat in EA Sports UFC 2 I find this to be clearly false.
I am a nice guy and I help a lot of people on this game. I respect my opponents win or lose and yet some sore loser who I said nothing to can say I engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct when it is not even close to true and make it so that I am unable to play
games. I find this to be a broken system and I hope it will be fixed or Xbox is simply allowing sore losers to get the best players who did nothing wrong out of the game.

 

M3TAL DAZE to answer your question. i stream everyday on twitch. and when i am streaming i am 100% in a party chat with other friends and top players of this game. it has nothing to do with comments or messages. it is strictly what i stated above. you say
to play a different game i have for the past week 10-12 hours a day and nothing is changing. im still getting reported for absolutely no reason and im suffering from this. there seems to be no way around this whatsoever.

 

Sparrlk is a streamer that I enjoy watching. This system of reputation on Xbox has been stopping him from doing what he loves. The reasons people use to file complaints that lower his rep are false and are hurting him with his streaming and his hurting him
with his audience as well. This needs to be fixed because it is hurting so many gamers who play the games for pure entertainment and as well for a living. Sparrlk hasn't done anything wrong.

 

Same thing just happened too me.. Had a perfect rating and once I played on UFC for a while everyone continued to report me. Now I cant even play the game.

 

So it has become apparent to me that Microsoft simply doesn't care about their competitive gamers, seeing as they have not responded back to this thread, and a moderator deleted my thread on the enforcement forum and sent me some generic, insincere response.

I'll be suggesting to all my friends who play games competitively to go to Playstation, as this experience has totally ruined Xbox for me. Sad really, because Ive been a loyal Xbox customer since the very first xbox.

 

ZHunter90 i am xbox live gold member since 10 years always GOLD and i feel totally unportected atm. I seriously considered to STOP playing competitive games like PES or FIFA to stop being hammered by trolls.
