I've never played the game but I assume it has a democratic vote to kick system. If a group of people get together and decide they want you out, well your out.

Usually the system is dominated by bullies in parties. If they decide you aren't playing the game the way they want they can force a vote with their majority. If they don't have the majority they can also keep calling votes until other people get tired of
it and go along with the vote so they can keep playing. It's mob rule.

If you were given a permanent ban, then it means you can no longer sign into Live at all. You should be able to play offline.

I also never have played this game, but I agree with envoy of chaos. if the majority of the people in the lobby want you out then you will be kicked.
