Expiring Gift Cards and Pre-Ordering

Hi,

I'm seeking clarification on something. I've pre-ordered COD: WWII with majority gift cards. Some of those gift cards expire prior to the release of the game. Are the gift cards that expire prior to the release of the game going to be put towards the game
or not?

I have not received my promotional GC for pre ordering Battlefield one.

This is a good question. I would be weary of using the gift card for a pre-order like that as it might expire before the money actually gets pulled.

Okay. I did read somewhere that gift cards adding to account balance credit do expire. Don’t know if that is true or not but I do know I did use gift cards to add to my account balance credit to pre order the dlc.

When I do check my account balance credit it still says it is expiring next month. So don’t really know what to do at this point.

I just hate how I can pre-order madden 15 on the MS store and it comes with a $10 gift card, but if I pre-order it through my xbox one its the same price without the gift card. Pre-orders should just be $49.99 then without the GC

Should cover you. One thing I'm not certain with is if "gift cards" can be used to pre-order physical goods. Might want to check with Microsoft Store support on that?
