Expiring family plan

Two questions-

1. My family plan is set to expire in two months. Is there a way to remove a profile and add a new one for the remainder of the term?

2, If not, how do I ensure the unwanted profile will not be billed to me? Remove from family? If it is removed, will the last two months stay with that account?

Adding existing Xbox live accounts to a family gold plan

My one son's individual Xbox live account is expiring and I am thinking about getting a family gold plan on the renewal. My other son's Xbox live account is still active but expires in the next few months. Will I be able to add my other son's account to
the family account when his expires or do I need to setup all 4 of the family accounts at the same time?

The Family Gold plan has long since been laid to rest. I haven't seen a question on it in a long time, lol.

You should be able to remove the one gamertag from the family plan. I know there was a page set up to manage members of the family but I can no longer find it.

The same goes for adding a different person to the plan.

What I would recommend is to contact phone support for assistance with this issue. They should be able to help out with this better than we can here.

Unfortunately, Microsoft has decided to discontinue the family plan. There are no grandfathered accounts from what I've read. It will simply not allow you to renew the family plan once it expires.

No, you cannot remove or change the Primary account on an active family pack. If you let the family plan expire and everyone go back silver you'll be able to start a new family plan with a new primary.

Remove the others from your family plan, then let the plan expire, then you can add just a regular subscription.

The primary is only designated when the account that creates the family plan purchases it

And adds secondary accounts

So in short you need to let the family plan expire

Then go onto the account that you want as primary then purchase the plan
