    Hi my name is Frank gamer tag and I was refereed to the forum by xbox live support call center, I received a new game GOW4 and have been finally getting back into my xboxone playing its been a while but I remember having currency and now its
    all gone, I was wondering if I can get it back since I did not think it would expire, I called the and as per the xbox live dude on the phone he said about $86.76 expired and that's a lot, I really wanted to buy some maps, games since I now have a terabyte
    hardrive. Please help out this long time xbox customer, thanks. Ive been XBOX since day 1.

    You would have to try contacting support and speak to billing, but generally once currency expires there is no way to get it back. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

    Sorry, but that would not be something anyone from the forums would be able to do. It would be up to the billing department which can only be reached by phone or chat and they typically don't return expired funds.

    Unfortunately, once we deposit Credits into your Microsoft Account, we can no longer take any action on or manipulate them in any way. You would have to reach out to billing support for any issues with currency.

    Unfortunately, once we deposit Credits into your Microsoft Account, we can no longer take any action on or manipulate them in any way. You would have to reach out to billing support for any issues with currency.

    Just to clarify a point here. Currency that is converted from Microsoft Points does expire one full year after redemption. But any currency added to your account directly does not expire. So, just a recap: Points Cards = Expire after 1 year, Currency
    Cards = Don't Expire, and expiring currency is always used first.

    Feel cheated by the promise of "no expiry" when purchasing "Microsoft Points".

    Yeah I don't think the currency system that's in place now expires once added to the account, it's just the old MS points as others have stated.

    Though, I never add currency unless I use it straight away, I've never trusted leaving money on any account, like I don't leave funds in paypal etc.
