Expired card/pre order.

Got an email today to update my billing info but I did it a couple weeks ago. I pre ordered Sniper ghost warrior 3 on a card that expired early. The only card on my account is the one that should be billed. There is no option to update the specific purchase.
Just wondering if someone will look at my account and charge the right card or if I will have to do some other action that I can't seem to think of?

Thanks for your post, this sounds like the transaction for your pre-orders did not fall through. If you pre-ordered a game it takes around 10 days before release to be charged. So when the initial pre-order is placed it does not charge immediately if being
purchased with a credit card, the order will charge only when the game is approaching release. If an account does not have funds at the time or charging or a card is expired, it will result in the pre-order license being revoked. To fix this, the game must
be purchased.

This is a good question. I would be weary of using the gift card for a pre-order like that as it might expire before the money actually gets pulled.

I assume you pre-ordered this game a while back. I would check with your card company/bank to ensure that the payment went through. Pre-order payments are taken usually 10 days prior to game release and if the funds are not there on your card, they will
cancel the pre-order.

Check your purchase history here https://account.microsoft.com also check your payment methods are up to date too and that a card has not expired.
