    Expiration Date Issue

I bought a prepaid Visa credit card to use on xbox live to buy a game. But the expiration date doesn't go high enough to be able to use my card. It's goes up to 2020 but I need 2021. What should I do?

    :)

    Code error: 80169D94

I had this same issue and it looks like I entered the wrong expiration date in when I last updated my billing information. Once I fixed the expiration date things worked perfectly.

Xbox LIVE Gold Tenure displaying "7" when it should (and used to be) "10"

First off, I apologize if creating a new thread is not the proper way to go about reporting this issue with my profile, but I have read through the sticky and a few other members' threads to see if any of their solutions worked for me. After a few days of
trying the methods provided like the following: clearing cache, deleting profile, powering down console, redownloading profile, etc., my Xbox LIVE Gold tenure still displays a "7" when it should be a "10".

I honestly cannot remember when I noticed the issue and whether or not it was before or after the 25th of January, but after going to following link (Sign in to your Microsoft account) I can confirm
that my membership has been of the Gold status longer than the currently displayed "7". Here's a summary of my billing with the dates if that is helpful in any way:

My Xbox LIVE Gold subscription has continually ran with no interruption (going to Silver status), though I had used a couple of free month cards here and there from games I had purchased. I understood that using them on an already active Gold account would
simply extend the expiration date time, but is that maybe what's causing the problem for my profile?

  4. Expiration Date Issue

The issue may not be with your expiration date. Officially prepaid Visa Cards are not supported on xbox live. You will need a credit card, Visa debit card or Pre Paid code. Now I'm not saying that you can't get pre paid credit cards to attach what I'm saying
is that they are not supported and they are not supposed to attached to xbox live accounts. So if they don't attach there are not troubleshooting steps to make them. The reason they are not supported is that if there is an issue with content and you need a
refund, 1. xbox might not be able to process it and 2. There might be an error after the refund on Xbox's side and you don't receive your money. Now because these pre paid cards are not set up like credit cards with banks, xbox have no lines of communication
to find out what happened or where your money is so they can't support it on their billing network so they are not supposed to work.

Confirm that you are using an approved payment method

You can use Visa, MasterCard or American Express cards in Marketplace as long as they allow international purchases. Even if your card displays a Visa or MasterCard logo, it is possible that it's not approved by your bank or issuing financial institution
    for international purchases.

Note Pre-paid cards, debit cards and gift cards (even those with a Visa or MasterCard logo) do not qualify as international cards and are not currently accepted. they do accept PRE-Paid points cards

    Xbox gold trial not working

Every xbox live code has an expiration date that is 365 days from the issue date. Seems you have let your code to expire

Why does the store say a game is $11.99 and then charge $29.99?

You have some legal issues there. It is not incumbent on the "receiver" of the advertising to determine its veracity unless an expiration date is clearly denoted on the advertisement. Nowhere on your advertisement does it list an expiration date. Basically,
what you are telling me is that this listing is like an expired coupon. Unfortunately, you did not put an expiration date on the "coupon."
