    Hope you can provide assistance to me.

    Have had my XBox One for over a month now, and have experienced this issue from day one of owning the console.

    Essentially, I have intermittent audio cut-outs when playing games, or watching Blu-rays, or using the Netflix app. It's hard to pinpoint any particular pattern - it can happen two or three times in 10 minutes, or once every half hour. The cut-outs only
    tend to last a second, which isn't a huge annoyance, but when you're watching a film, it does somewhat become annoying after a while.

    Set-up:

    On day one, I connected my Xbox One to my television using HDMI, and went straight from the Xbox One to the soundbase using optical digital. After experiencing this issues, I bought a higher-grade optical cable and still the cut-outs persisted. I then switched
    the set-up, so that HDMI still ran from XBox to television, but the optical audio ran instead from television to soundbase. I am unfortunately experiencing no difference. This is still my current set-up.

    I have my audio set up to "Stereo Uncompressed" for HDMI at the moment.

    Is this a known problem with the XBox One. Is it hardware or software related?

    There are a few tests I still want to do:

    - Changing my Xbox One to an Xbox 360 and seeing if the problem exists

    - Running the audio through my TV speakers to see if it is a problem with my soundbase

    - Using another HDMI cable from Xbox to television.

    - Using an HDMI splitter to make my audio connection to my soundbase HDMI (although I would have to pay £20 to buy one of these which wouldn't be a guarantee)

    Any assistance would be much appreciated, as to why this is happening.

    Intermittent audio/video issues

    So I tried another HDMI cable yesterday and today. Still getting the same occasional flicker of green tint and audio cutout. Happens during both games and Blu-rays. I haven't had the complete loss of sound or video with this cable yet, but it's only been

    xbox wireless headset firmware update 0.0.9.50

    sadly I think these headsets are just not very good. I always get my hopes up a firmware update will make this headset usable, but every time I'm let down, this update is no different, audio issues remain. I bought the wireless adapter for windows and that lessened the frequency of cutouts vs bluetooth, but I still get cutouts and crackling/distortion on multiple PCs using the adapter.

    I've had issues like this with a faulty audio cable from my control to my headset. It would randomly cut out and send a high pitch squeal through the chat and headset until I unplugged it and had it in just right... I'm not sure if our issues are the same
    as you seem to be experiencing this when installing updates. If it isn't the audio cable you check here and maybe these past issues will solve your problem. It would be best if you can eliminate variables like testing it with another controller, a pair of
    headphones, ect. If you deem that it isn't a hardware issue outside of the xbox system it could be an issue with your xbox itself in which case you'd have to contact microsoft and can do so here: https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us

    That could be the headset the connection the 3.5 mm plug it could vary and it all depends you just have to do your trouble shooting options to find the one that it actually is
