    Destiny Expansion - downloading it

    Hello guys,

    Recently I bought Destiny for XONE, but not through LIVE (I got the game box instead). So the question is simple:

    If I download Destiny Expansion packs, will XBOX LIVE require CD to play, even if I play only the expansion?

    It's called an expansion pass and yes (covers 2 expansions)

    As per the page, it is for XBox One. When you purchase it, it won't provide you with a code but will be linked to the account used when purchasing. If this is the same as the account you sign into your XBox with then depending on your settings, it'll download
    automatically or will wait in your "ready to download" queue.

    Hey there, there wouldn't be a way to purchase as a gift for a friend like that. What you'd need to do is purchase an Xbox Store gift card so that they can use the currency to purchase the content. Expansion pass XONE :)

    I thought about it and I think I am going to do that. It's just that it is giving a gift card instead of, 'That amazing DLC of your favourite game, The Witcher 3". It's the same somehow.

    Guess I have no choice, thank you anyways ^^
