“Exfat file system” blue screen. While playing Forza 7

hello

I am using a Samsung odyssey Z laptop with a nv1060 and i7 with 16GB of ram.

Now forza recently added in a unlocked framerate and I've been using it and maybe had a crash or two but its working beautifully 98% of the time.

Now I have a screenshot before the blue screen happened. The game said that my profile changed.

I hit ok and the game shutdown. Now the next thing that happened was interesting. My external SSD that has Motorsport 7 (and a few other games) on acted like it safely removed the drive its self and had the little removable drive icon at the bottom seconds
later the bluescreen "Exfat file system"

So my question is it just a random bug with the game? I don't get how the profile could have changed on me when I'm on my PC

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It turns out that this error code is associated with Windows 10. It is not a bug that is associated with the game. The Microsoft support article entitled, "Troubleshoot
blue screen errors" contains solutions for this issue. If the blue screen solutions do not fix the profile issue, please let us know. We will continue troubleshooting until we are able to resolve the issue. We hope this helps!

chromebooks can only format an external drive to exfat, they can read and write to ntfs but there is no option to format to any other file system other than exfat.

How to Format a Drive

To erase and format the drive, right-click the name of the drive and select “Format Device”. Chrome OS will format the drive with the exFAT file system. There’s no way to choose a different file system, change the drive’s partition layout, or name the drive.

Were you playing EverQuest? The dump file says eqgame.exe triggers the crash this time. This is a file that belongs to EverQuest. Last time you encountered a blue screen, was it also while playing this game?

While playing RDR2, I suddenly got a blue screen error. My MSI RX7900 xTX driver is up to date. I just reassembled my system and this is the first time it's happened to me.
