Exclusives

Im finding fewer reasons to turn my xbox on these days with exclusives dominating the top 10 games of the years so far.

So is there a spcific reason why there are hardly any new good exclusives for the 360?

Playstation 3: exclusive: 109; console exclusive: 90. = 199.

Xbox 360: exclusive: 129; console exclusive: 79 = 208.

 

Gamers who rent their games..........................

Xbox One exclusives can run 60fps where PS4 exclusives is only 30fps

Xbox One care about Multiplayer exclusives while PS4 cares about single player exclusives

 

PS does have a lot of really good games...

Night in the Woods is coming to Xbox One at least.

Not saying what you've wrote is wrong, but if you cant find anything to play on your console then your not looking very hard. There are loads and loads of amazing games on the Xbox One, are they all exclusive? no, but does that really matter?

Also if you want to play Shovel Knight, its on the Xbox One..................just saying.

 

While I am happy that Xbox games are coming to Windows 10, the problem is that it kills any incentive I have to purchase an Xbox One. Why would I spend money on a system when the games are available on a platform I already own.

Exclusives sell systems, there can be no argument to that in my mind. If the Xbox One has fewer exclusives available then people will jump ship or purchase another system if it is their first machine.

It's not as if the OP can't find games to play on his One. Its to his mind what is the point in staying with the Xbox One if the other systems will be playing those same games and have a greater amount of exclusive titles.

 

Yep OP, pretty much. Xbox has lost this Generation and maybe even much further. They (MS) forgot about the single most important thing this Gen, the Games.

As for the silly reply above in regards to Exclusives, yes they very much make or break a Console. Multiplat Games merely follow the Console that has the largest audience. Xbox One not having any Exclusives short of Halo of War 19 is the reason the why it's
so dark around Xbox land for the last couple years.

 

Aside from Zelda, which I'm playing currently, and Horizon:Zero Dawn (Contemplating buying.), really don't find anything else on the list to my taste. I have no "loyalty" to any company and buy what gives enjoyment/entertainment.

@LodgedBonsai923..."I" associate P.C.s with work. If they got rid of consoles, and/or made every game P.C. exclusive; I'd just stop playing games.

@Elohmn...Generally I can agree that exclusives can make or break a console, though I would say Nintendo had some flops with arguably the best exclusives and the most rabid fanboys on the planet.

Xbox is still my favorite console. They have the best controllers (In my opinion.) and the best online experience. My PS4 hasn't been touched in several months and, unless Horizon:Zero Dawn is a purchase, probably won't get touched for several more. After
Zelda, can't see the Switch getting much use. Long live X Box! Lol.

 

I completely agree with you... I havent turn on my Xbox One S in a while. I turn it on once in a while for 10 minutes and got bored of it and turn to my PS4 Pro.

Exclusives, the novelty wears off so fast and then you are wondering well what replayability has this game actually got, non is the answer to that queation. Although I really hope MS have scorpio exclusives just because of the insane power and engineering
that has gone into the Scorpio. But the ln again the hype will be met like always and then the novelty will wear off. How can you simply turn on your Xbone and get bored, liar! You have clubs and well made community feed that works really well, in-built LFG
and the hands down the best and most stable online experience, the best online security in gaming today and of games with gold pay £40 a year and get what, maybe £60 - £80 worth of games a month! Now tell me what Sony could offer you that would trump any of
this? Ohhhh a couple of games well spank me hard and call me unimpressed.

 

Xbox One was pretty much DOA, which is why I sold mine pretty quickly while it was still worth something. MS has cut their losses and shifted focus, so I wouldn't expect much else for this console. Hopefully they've learned enough from their mistakes this
gen and can get their act together for the Scorpio.
