'Exclusive' renewal deal

For over a week, I've had a promotional offer on my dashboard saying it is an 'exclusive' LIVE GOLD renewal. It suggests that I can get 20% off gold and pay £31.99. However, clicking on the deal takes me to the regular renewal price of £39.99 AND THEN it
won't even let me pay the full price anyway. Any clues?

Deal on the dash to go gold again is

3 months for £8 and 800MS points - points deposited in 8 weeks and must be used by 31-12-11

Best deal I got was to call support and ask them to cancel my gold on its last day saying I was unsatisfied with the service, I was given 13 months of gold for about £23 because I had been gold for so long.

I was in the same position a few months back and i gave customer support a call and i got 13 months + 800ms points for £27.99

There was some trouble with this offer but it should be fixed now. If you still see the offer, try power cycling your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds and then power it back on. Let us know if there's any change.

Some deals are only for upgrading to Gold, some are exclusive deals to Gold members.

Lord apparently you have failed to realize that a major contingency of the deal between AT&T and DirecTV going through is DirecTV's ability to retain it's exclusive deal with the NFL. So no exclusive rights to the NFL then no deal between the two. Don't
believe me then look it up. This was known when news of the deal first came out.

As you were told by Microsoft Support if your account is in an over due balance you will need to pay it before you can gain access to your account again. There is no way around that.

As per any subscription agreement that has an automatic renewal option it will keep going for a certain point and you are required to pay that amount. As with any sort of magazine, newspaper, or CD/DVD program they continue to send you their end of the deal
for a bit until the account is suspended due to non payment. And they do ask that you pay the back logged payment. It works the same with Microsoft's own automatic renewal. You are responsible for turning off automatic renewal on the account if you wish to
no longer continue using XBOX Live.

No one on these forums will be able to unlock the account for you, you will need to deal exclusively with LIVE Phone Support.
